Spectrum's Operation Manager, Neil, has recently completed two courses that will allow him to ensure employees are working safely at heights, and safely using ladders that have been inspected thoroughly.
PASMA's Work at Height (Essentials) Course
provides the knowledge to effectively comply with duties under the Work at Height Regulations, including training and testing on safe personal fall protection equipment, scaffolds and mobile access towers, MEWPs and suspended platforms, ladders and steps, fragile roofs and other surfaces.
The Ladder and Stepladder Inspection Course
means that Neil now has the knowledge and practical skills to thoroughly inspect and maintain ladders and stepladders, which is more complex than you may initially think! The agenda included the inspection procedure, documentation, manufacturing techniques, repairs, disposal and finally a written and practical exam.
It is fantastic to know that the Spectrum team are now even more qualified to take on security projects that require specific training and skills to fulfil the client's requirements. We have such a diverse group of employees all with the highest levels in training, and many with specific skill sets from excelling in complex training courses.
